Hi
I'm 42 & have been on Zoloft for over 10 years. I was given it because I was told I had a chemical imbalance. I have just finished reading "The Antidepressant Solution" by Dr. Joseph Glenmullen & I'm convinced taking myself off of Zoloft is the best thing to do.
I am concerned about the longevity of my taking this drug-who knows what the long-term effects really are? Do I still need to be on it-is the original reason resolved and I don't need it anymore?
Is there really such a thing as having a chemical imbalance?
I am wondering if anyone else has been on Zoloft as long as I have...
I am also wondering if anyone else has tapered off using Zoloft successfully....
I'd love to see others post their thoughts, concerns, etc.
