I know this might sound like a vain question, but I was wondering if there were any exercises or natural products I could use to tighten and tone my skin. I have a class reunion coming up in a month, and I'd like to look my best. Also, is there anything I can do about the hangy flesh on the underside of my arms? I can't stand that!

Hey, Vivian--

My mom suggeted using lotion all over my body to give the skin better tone. I've also heard that massage can maybe have an effect on skin tone, but I don't know how true that is. Drink lots of water! That's always good for the skin.

As for the stuff on the underside of your arms, I recently learned that that's one of the main places women carry fat. Our bellies, our thighs and butt, and our underarm (tricep) area. Weird, huh? I do tricep toning exercises for mine, but I've noticed that even the women on my workout videos jiggle just a little bit right there. I think we're always going to have a little bit of something there, but do some exercises to tone your tricep muscles and you'll be less jiggly. Do what you can--leave the rest up to nature.

Personally, I hate the idea of plastic surgery. I like that you're looking for more natural ways of making your body look better.
