Looking for a antidepressant that will not cause loss of sexually desire or ED.
Is Welbutrin the one that my husband is looking for ?
Thank You for any insight you can give us.

A friend of our family's had issues with mild depressed mood about 6 months or so after her pregnancy. She also had a lack of desire for sexual activity for a while. The doctor prescribed Wellbutrin for both, and according to her, it worked really well for both. She has since discontinued Wellbutrin, but is an avid supporter of the drug for short-term use.

However, let me not that the research available for Wellbutrin and increased sexual desire was done on women, and not men. I am not sure the effects it has on sexual desire/performance in men.

Based on what i know about the other meds out there, Wellbutrin would probably be the one to try, if you get the ok from your doc. Perhaps your husband's doctor could shed some more light on this as well.
