Hello,
What's its effect on high pression and diabetes? What's its interaction effect with chemecal medecine for depression such as Effexor?
Because Rhodiola Rosea has some stimulant properties it is not recommended if you have high blood pressure. However, the same thing might be true for Effexor
There is no current evidence of any negative interactions between Effexor and rhodiola Rosea, though, that is not to say that there won't be any. Things to look for if you combine these two medicines would be headache, stomach upset and/or drowsiness.
If you are going to take Rhodiola with Effexor and if you have high blood pressure, the best recommendation would be to speak with your doctor so that you can monitor your blood pressure closely for the first 3 - 4 weeks.
Since Rhodiola is an herb, it is pretty safe to use. Any side effects/interactions you experience will be transient, meaning that if you discontinue the rhodiola the side effects would go away.
