[font="Comic Sans MS"][/font][color="#000080"][/color]i am having trouble with my childs behavior at school and at home, what do i do?

My son who is almost 9 also has ADHD (though I think it is just ADD). He can be screened by ADHD specialist to see if he indeed has the disorder and they may recommend prescription meds to help him focus, but here is also a plethora of books that can help YOU deal with his condition. You need to be able to relate to him and help him through this too. He is probably very scared and not sure why he can't do the things that are asked of him. My son has a habit of getting very down on himself for not being able to focus on his responsibilities. To be supportive to him though, you need to understand what he's dealing with. Good luck.
