Hi,my name is John
my girlfriend and I have just broken up.We were apart for the summer and things just must have changed for her. However im still in love with her.The problem is that she still wants to be friends because when we were going out,we were best friends. Another problem is that she just lives next door to me so im going to see here everyday. Im still talking to her because in the back of my mind im still hoping that she remembers how our relationship was before the summer. Ive talked it over with her last week and she said she saw no future for us together but im just wondering will the familarity of collage bring her back to me. if anyone has any advice, please help.
Thank you
John

Hi John,
I'm so sorry to hear that you have broken up.
Living next door to her isn't going to help you move on, I know that from experience. You also can't stay friends, not right now. You're still in love with her so 'staying friends' to you means hoping that she will change her mind. Is it at all possible for you to move so that you don't have to see her every day, otherwise it will be so painful for you.
I know it's SUCH a cliche but time really will heal. All you can do is take one day at a time. One day you will realise that you haven't even given her a thought.
I wish you all the best x
