There are lots of things to try. Counseling, meditation, exercise, volunteering, herbals, massage, animal therapy, art therapy, light therapy. What have you done in the past? How long have you felt depressed?

Me too. I don't want to take meds. I prefer something natural.

There are many you can try. It is late for me, but the ones that come to mind that you can research, are,Rhodlia Rosea, SAME-e, search for depression in your search bar, I think you will get some infornation from that.

Learn to love yourself first, as is. Focus on the bigger picture, don't get swallowed up in the "me tunnel" (as I call it).

sometimes depression is not just about how you think. there are people i know, and no matter how postive the situation, they manage to find what could go wrong. there is really no way to change this without gettin help. reach out to family first, then your friends, research depression, i myself am suffering from depression, and i know im not the only one. today, as i was looking for a little advice, much like you were, i found a couple things. there are medical terms for these, but cashews. sounds stupid yes, but the sitew i read said that cashews make your body produce seritonin, which is sometimes the cause of depression. they said that sometimes their almost as good as perscription meds like prozac, and there arent any side effects. so, alot of cashews, and take vitamin c, i hear that helps as well.
