The feeling that something is crawling on skin, or the thoughts that some tpe of bug, mite, parasite, etc is on the skin and clothes........can this be a side effect of adderall. My wife takes it, but for past three months, she has had increasing symptoms like this....highly agitated and frustrated that no one else in family is feeling the same. She has embarked on crusade to rid the house of germs, etc, she wears rubber boots, ties up botom of pants legs, washes and rewashes same clothes, takes 3-5 showers a day, changes clothes multiple times a day, bleaching walls and ceilings, going 18 hours a day. She is afraid to sleep in bed because she itches and believes something is on her. She has even treated family with worm medcine, and cant stand a pair of socks landig on the floor instead of hamper. Much more, but dont want to go overboard her. Family going nuts over this

These might be some helpful sites for you and your wife. I have not taken this specific medication, but I have been a guine pig for years. I hope these are somewhat helpful, and maybe consider talking with the doctor about what is going on.
Medications can turn people into someone they are not-I'm not saying medications are bad-I say this because of what I have gone through and experienced with certain medications. I am currently on medications, so I don't want to give you the wronge idea. When ever I have had odd or bad side effects of medications, I seek my psychiatrst as soon as possible. I've only learned this through going through the medication process for so long. There are times that I don't see certain side effects, or don't believe what poeple close to me say, but I've learned to seek help anyways, because I might not be in my right mind at that time. I hope that some of this is of some help.
Best to you and your family,
S.
