I have lost the battle with my extra baggage. I have really tried everything, I don't really pig out, and sit in front of the tube all day eating chips. I am active but I just can't lose weight, or stick to a diet. I have heard of diet pills, pros and cons, I just can't make up my mind if they are really harmful. What should I do?????

Hi MaggieMay I am sorry that you haven't found a good way how to lose weight yet. I know that this is really frustrating. I used to have the same problems like you. But finally I made a decision. I decided to try the weight loss pill redusyn. I believe that diet pills are very good as long as they don't have any bad side effects. But redusyn doesn't and that is why I decided to order it. I might tell you about my experiences with redusyn if you like.

Hi Cherry, PLEASE let me know how you are doing with redusyn, I was gonna order it myself because it sounds pretty good, I have heard alot about it, my aunt's freind took it and guess what, she is THIN!!!!! I talked to her myself, and she says she lost weight with hardly any effort, and the pounds stayed off now for a year!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Do you know any one who has taken it???
Cherry
Feb 14 2008, 08:11 AM
Hi MaggieMay yes sure I will tell you about my experiences with redusyn. I really hope that I will get it soon. I just can't wait to be thin! One of my colleagues took this weight loss pill and she was very satisfied with it. Thats why I decided so give these diet pills a try. It is great that you aunt's friend had made positive experiences. Hopefully me too! I'll let you know!

Hi Cherry, Let me know how long it took to get redusyn, I am gonna order some this weekend, how much did you order?? I sure can't wait to get mine, I am really happy, that after checking around so much, that I finally found a good diet pill to take. And I can't wait to start, of course I am not depending completely on redusyn, I have decided to cut down alittle with the snacking!!!!!
Cherry

Hi MaggieMay yesterday I finally got redusyn. I was so happy when I got it and I took the first pill this morning. The pill is not to big and therefore the intake wasn't difficult or so and I felt normal afterwarts. I will tell you more during thev next days!
First I just ordered one package which is a 28 days cure. Maybe this is even enough and I don't have to order additional pills. So have you also ordered redusyn already?
MaggieMay
Feb 25 2008, 12:24 PM
Hi Cherry, I just got mine today, will start on it tomorrow!!!!!!! I also got the 28 day package, I think that should do the job, but if it works nicely, I might do it for 3 months at the most, along with watching what I eat. Then I should be ready to whip out my bikini!!!!!
Cherry
Feb 26 2008, 09:48 AM
I am glad that you also got redusyn. Hopefully it will work for you as well and that you are as satisfied as I am. Yeah we will see how many pills we need. But I definitely won't take more that three packages. After that I think I am enough motivated to do the rest on my own!
MaggieMay
Feb 28 2008, 09:19 AM
I agree with you , I will not take more than 3 months worth, that would be too long, and I think that in 3 months redusyn will have helped me lose weight and also given me the will to keep to my changed eating habits. I don't want to have to diet all my life, but I also don't want to be fat all my life. I am a clothes freak, and there are so many cute clothes out there now WOW!!!!
Cherry
Feb 29 2008, 04:38 AM
Yes I also think so. I mean I have already lost 14 lbs in 12 days which is very very much and I hope that I will keep on losing like this but honestly I don't really think so. Right now I think that I might take redusyn for two months. This should be enough.
MaggieMay
Feb 29 2008, 10:01 AM
I think that 3 months is enough, it is enough time to get yourself adjusted to changing eating habits, and learning not to eat so much. I am gonna learn to cook different and shop for food different in these 3 months. I hope that my plans work out, because I want to make these changes forever.
Cherry
Mar 2 2008, 02:00 PM
Of course it won't be enough time to reach your perfect weight. But I believe that you shouldn't take a diet pill up tol that point. You should use the pill as a booster to get motivated to change your eating habits and to exericse more often. You have to change your whole lifestyle - redusyn might help you in the beginning but you have to do the biggest part on your own.
MaggieMay
Mar 3 2008, 05:35 AM
Yes that is very true, I do not want to depend on the redusyn, just use it as a booster, like you said, I don't think that I will reach my perfect weight in 3 months, but at least I have a pretty good darn start. A weak person needs a start, and I will learn to change my eating habits in 3 months.
Cherry
Mar 3 2008, 10:00 AM
I totally agree. It is a pity that I am so week. Anyways so in which way have you changed your life while taking redusyn. Have you started to do any specific exercises which might be interesting for me as well. Oh and I thought about becoming vegetarian because meat is quite high on calories anyways. What do you think about my idea?
MaggieMay
Mar 4 2008, 12:55 PM
I have really changed alot of things, I go on longer walks with my 2 dogs, (they LOVE THAT) ride my bike faster to work, little things, but still a change, I also just feel alot better about myself. I don't crave sweet stuff anymore, Instead of a candy bar to eat while I'm out with my dogs, I take an apple. I wouldn't give up meat, I mean I don't need to eat it every day, but I sure do LOVE my steak once in awhile. but if you think you could be happy with being a vegie person, then go ahead and do it, it's great.
Cherry
Mar 5 2008, 06:00 AM
That is great! Too bad that I don't have a dog :-) But you haven't started doing specific exercises, have you? I really want to tighten my belly and I thought about doing a special work-out. But unfortunately I don't really know which kind of exercises are the best ones. Do you have any idea?
MaggieMay
Mar 5 2008, 08:00 AM
I think plain old sit-ups are the best for the tummy, I should start on those, might be good, I don't have the time to go to a gym, have to do something at home, maybe sit-ups at night when the TV is on, then you can zip thru a few. Maybe some one has some ideas for starters. I ride a bike to work, but I think that is only good for your legs.
Cherry
Mar 5 2008, 09:14 AM
Yeah me neither. I am working all day and in the evening I am usually too tired to go to the gym. But something like sit-ups sound quite interesting. I am going to try this. And probably it won't be too boring if I am doing that while watching tv. Great idea! Thanks so much!
MaggieMay
Mar 6 2008, 04:17 AM
I tried the sit-up thing, not bad to listen to your favorite music while doing it, I am gonna try and make it a habit to do them every night after work and increase the nr. of sit-ups every other day. Atleast that is a start, the gal at work told me you can put weights on your ankels and then lay down and raise your legs up, it is supposed to be better. Will check that out, don't know if I could raise my legs up with weights on them, will try without weights tonight.
Cherry
Mar 6 2008, 05:26 AM
I also did a few sit-ups last night. But honestly I didn't like these kind of exercises that much. It was so damned exhausting.

I need to find something else I think. Lifting weights sounds interesting although I am not sure if this would help me that much. Nevertheless I am going to try this. And I am trying to find some more exercises in the internet!
MaggieMay
Mar 7 2008, 07:36 AM
Let me know if you find anything good that you can do at home, I wanted to start Nordic walking, that would be something to do with my 2 dogs, but I heard on TV it is not really good for your joints, will have to ask my Doc. next week, what do you think about it?? My dogs will probably play with the sticks.
Cherry
Mar 7 2008, 10:28 AM
Unfortunately I haven't found anything that suits me well yet. But I will keep on searching :-) Maybe pilates or yoga.
Nordic walking-why not? I tried that but I didn't like it that much. But with your dogs it might be nice. But you have to buy equipement for that, haven't you?
MaggieMay
Mar 8 2008, 05:36 AM
Do you like to swim, if you have the time that would be a great idea. I just thought of Nordic walking because I have to go out with my dogs anyway, so they can walk faster with me, I think all you need are the poles, but I can try a few weeks without, maybe my dogs will hate Nordic walking!!!!
Cherry
Mar 8 2008, 08:50 AM
Yeah I like swimming, but I hate myself in a bathing suit. First I have to lose a few more pounds before being able to go to a public pool. And unfortunately I don't have a pool at home :-( Well I don't think that your dogs wouldn't like nordic walking. You would probably wark faster than normal and I am sure they would love that :-)
MaggieMay
Mar 9 2008, 04:22 AM
Why don't you try walking, I tried it today, it was OK, but my one little dog is also overweight (they say that dogs resemble their owners) and she wasn't too thrilled, but it will also do her good. I am going to keep it up the fresh air always does good, do you have somewhere nice to walk? I think walking is good for every part of your body, don't you think so.
Cherry
Mar 9 2008, 08:27 AM
Well I thought that walking might be a little bit boring. I mean you have got your dogs and have to go out anyways but me all alone...well I don't know if I would like that. I did it once and I didn't like it that much...although I have to admit that it was raining that day :-) What about the poles? Have you done it without them?
MaggieMay
Mar 10 2008, 02:59 AM
I haven't gotten the poles yet wanted to make sure that my dogs would keep up with me. esp. my little fatty. They are doing good tho. I think I will get some poles this week, I have met some other gals in the morning that do Nordic Walking and I think I will join them, it is better than doing it alone, don't you think??? Maybe you can find someone to walk with.
Cherry
Mar 10 2008, 10:16 AM
Yeah exercising all alone is quite boring. I think it is pretty good to join a group. You could motivate each other and it is also possible to have a short chat while walking :-) Pretty good for women *lol* Joining a group might help me too but where to find people? Most of my friends live quite far away-at least too far to do sports together.
MaggieMay
Mar 11 2008, 07:06 AM
Check around your neighbor hood, there might be some one that is interested in doing some thing with you, I asked the gals this morning, and I can join up with them, one even has some older poles for me, she said I could use them at first, this is going to be fun. Hope you find someone.
Cherry
Mar 11 2008, 08:12 AM
Unfortunately I am not such an outgoing personality. And I have never seen any of my neighbors outside to exercise. Guess I have to keep on exercising all alone :-( I am glad that you have found some people to exercise with and that they may even borrow you their old poles. Let me know wheather it is exhausting or not!
MaggieMay
Mar 12 2008, 05:27 AM
Don't worry you will find someone, or just start walking and maybe you will find someone while you are walking, that is how I found this group. It is not exhausting at all, you can always take a break and rest when ever you want. Give it a try, it would be good for you to get out in the fresh air.
Cherry
Mar 12 2008, 10:40 AM
Well I don't think that I like this kind of sport that much. I guess I should try to find something else. I wouldn't have fun while walking and I think that having fun is a very important point. Otherwise you would find excuses why not doing at-at least I would :-) Do you have another idea which I might try?
MaggieMay
Mar 13 2008, 08:12 AM
Do you ride a bike, that is also fun and good for you, I ride one too work everyday, I use to hate it, but now I don't mind at all, and with summer coming up it is nice to take a ride to the lake, spend some time there, then go home. Depends how old you are, how about tennis, or just a plain exercise group, I was thinking about that one myself. I am not the type to go to the gym and work out, YUCK.
Cherry
Mar 14 2008, 10:24 AM
I wish I had a bike. Unfortunately I don't have one although my working place is just about 8 miles away from home. Maybe I should buy one and ride the bike to go to work. Bikes aren't too expensive and maybe I could even buy a used one. Tennis might be fun too but I think it is pretty difficult to get used to it. I don't even know the rules.
MaggieMay
Mar 14 2008, 10:41 AM
I ride my bike to work everyday, because I hate riding the bus, I have to ride about 5 miles, but now I take the long way, which is about 10, I wonder how many calories I burn when I ride 10 miles. The Nordic walking is turning out to be alot of fun with the other gals, there should be a group some where around you, if you think you would like it.
Cherry
Mar 15 2008, 06:53 AM
I found an offer for a used bike yesterday when I did some shopping. I called that lady at once. The bike was in a very good condition and therefore I decided to buy it. That was such a serendipity!!! I am so happy!
Unfortunately I don't know how many calories you burn but you may buy a pulse monitor. Sometimes these machines also provide you with information about calories I think.
MaggieMay
Mar 15 2008, 09:55 AM
Great, you will like biking, I do it alot now, and sometimes I even do it when I have to go to the post office, before I just jumped in my car and went, but it is more fun on a bike (unless it is raining) That would be interesting to see how many calories you burn while riding a bike. I am going to ask my friend if he knows about that.
Cherry
Mar 16 2008, 06:57 AM
I really do! I did it last night in the evening and it was so much fun. I am going to make a biking tour later. I thought about going to the mountains!
I found a fantastic link in the internet where you might calculate how much calories you have burned.
http://www.fitwatch.com/phpscripts/viewexe...al&mets=8.0 It is pretty cool I think!
MaggieMay
Mar 16 2008, 08:56 AM
Hey that is really cool, I am going to check out that link, would be good to see how many calories you burn while doing different things. I am glad that you like riding your bike, in the summer it will be more fun, and you can get a great tan too.
Cherry
Mar 17 2008, 09:16 AM
Yeah I also think so. Oh and getting tanned is a very nice secondary effect that is true :-) And it is cheaper too because I started to go to a solarium. And boy this is really expensive. But I feel better when my skin is a little bit tanned and therefore I don't care about the price that much...

Mar 18 2008, 05:36 AM
I saw my neighbor biking yesterday night! I asked her if she was biking regularly. She nodded and we decided to go bikig together tonight. I am really looking forward to that! It is great that I have finally found somebody with whom I can exercise. I might also tell her about redusyn!
MaggieMay
Mar 18 2008, 10:01 AM
Hey great, it is more fun to do something with someone. Is she overweight too? Maybe you could do this together, it is good to have a partner to share things with. How far do you both ride, in the summer you could even make day trips, take your lunch with you, would be fun.
Cherry
Mar 19 2008, 04:18 AM
We had so much fun together last night. Actually we didn't have that much contact before but I think that we might exercise more often in the future. She told me that she also wanted to get rid of the overweight. (She is not as fat as I am but a few kilos less won't hurt her either :-)) She asked me what I did to lose weight. So I told her about redusyn but she said that she was totally against diet pills. But that is okay-everybody has to make his own decision!
MaggieMay
Mar 19 2008, 09:34 AM
That is good to bike together !!! I bet she will change her mind in a few weeks when she sees how much you are losing. I can't wait till summer comes, then I can do alot more stuff, like garden work, longer bike rides. Maybe by then I can wear some nice short skirts or shorts.
Cherry
Mar 20 2008, 10:43 AM
Yeah I also thought so. I really don't know why she is against diet pills-maybe something has happened in the past. But we are just getting to know each other and I didn't want to bother her. Maybe she will change her mind about redusyn-well we will see. Happy easter!
MaggieMay
Mar 21 2008, 06:12 PM
I have noticed that alot of people are against diet pills, just like I am against people that smoke. Everyone is different, maybe she heard bad things about diet pills and think that they are all bad. But diet pills like redusyn aren't bad, otherwise I wouldn't take them. Keep going bike riding with her, it is good exercise. HAPPY EASTER !!!!!
Cherry
Mar 22 2008, 04:08 AM
That is true but I really don't know why. I mean smoking is much worse that taking diet pills. Especially if you take a pill without any side effects like redusyn. I think people should be more open-minded or what do you think?
Yeah I will definitely keep on bike riding. Maybe we could also try something like jogging!
MaggieMay
Mar 22 2008, 07:00 PM
I guess that the people who are against diet pills have more will power, and they don't understand that there are people who don't have that strong of a will power. I could not have gotten this far on my weight loss without redusyn, the problem is keeping it off after, but I am sure I can do it, I have learned to eat differently, haven't you?
Cherry
Mar 23 2008, 03:27 AM
Well I wouldn't say that those pill have more will power. I would say that I have quite much will power too because I really want to lose weight. But why not taking the easy way if there is an easy way? That is my device. And I am changing my eating habits because I want it-not because of redusyn. I guess I would have lost weight by just taking the pills too...
MaggieMay
Mar 23 2008, 01:58 PM
Yes, redusyn is wonderfull, I think you can lose with them alone, but I am also changing the way I get because I really did eat way too much, and alot of junk food too. O just love not being so hungry all the time , it is such a nice feeling don't you think?
