I am sure that you would also lose a lot of weight when taking redusyn and not changing the eating habits. But then if you want to keep the weight off you would need to take the pills for the rest of your life. Otherwise you would be as fat as you used to be before soon!
Yeah this feeling is wonderful. Hopefully it will last for a veeeeeeeery long time :-)
MaggieMay
I don't ever want to gain all my weight back, what a terrible thought. I am not going to ever be fat again, I made this promiss to myself. I am sure that when I am done with my redusyn, that I will watch myself all the time. Just keep thinking of the fat days. I might even put a fat picture of myself on the fridge.
Cherry
I also want to be thin for the rest of my life. And I really hope that I will never gain that much weight again. ALthough I have changed my eating habits I am kind of afraid that I might fall back into old habits when I will stop taking redusyn. Do you also feel like thsi sometimes?
MaggieMay
Not really, I am so happy to have lost all this weight, that I never want to gain it back. I hated being fat (I still am but not quite as bad) I promissed myself never to gain again and if I notice that I gained 1 pound, I will do something to lose it. This is never going to happen to me again. If it does then I will take redusyn for 1 month again.
Cherry
Yes of course I am also very happy with my new weight and that I am still losing. But we never know what might happen in life and probably this isthe reason why I have some doubts on my will power sometimes. But what if you gain weight bakc at once after you stop taking redusyn? I mean you can't take the pills forever...
MaggieMay
You just have to watch yourself, keep active, redusyn has taught me not to eat so much and also I have more energy. I am pretty sure that when I stop taking redusyn, things will stay the same. You just can't fall back in your old ways. Just look at this weight loss as a new beginning.
Cherry
Yes but I think you forget that redusyn curbs the appetite and that is the reason why you dont eat that much anymore. This might change again when you stop taking redusyn. Then you need to control the appetite yourself which might be difficult. But I wish you so much luck that it will work!
MaggieMay
Think positive !! Fat stay away!! I think that after losing weight you get use to eating differently, and then you can do it all the time. Just remember how it was when you were fat. That will keep you away from eating. at least that will do the job for me. I never want to be fat again.
Cherry
Sorry I know that I am still a little too pessimistic sometimes-I will try to change my attitude. I mean I am changing my life now and I guess it is time to change my attitude towards different things too. Have you done anything nice this weekend? Exercising for example?

My weekend was just a work weekend again, but we did a cooking hour with the patients, and we used one of my diet recipies, we broiled chicken and served it with brown rice and lots of fresh vegies. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Everyone wants to do it again.
Cherry
Nice to hear that everybody enjoyed your food. Sounds delicious :-) This is what I ate yesterday: LOW-FAT CHEESE RAVIOLI

3/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
1 ounce (about 1/4 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1 egg
1 garlic clove, pressed
Pinch of ground nutmeg
24 pot-sticker or gyoza wrapper
Light Tomato Sauce
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Additional chopped fresh basil

Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Add salt and pepper. Place 1 rounded teaspoon of filling in center of gyoza wrapper. Brush edge of gyoza wrapper lightly with water. Fold wrapper in half, making sure all filling remains inside.. Seal edges by pinching. Move ravioli to baking sheet. Continue with remaining filling and wrappers. (Can be prepared up to 2 hours ahead; refrigerate.) Add salt to large pot of water. Bring to boil. Gently add ravioli to pot. Cook about 3 minutes until ravioli are tender, stirring gently. Using large slotted spoon, place ravioli into bowls. Pour sauce over ravioli. Sprinkle each with 1/2 tablespoon cheese. Garnish with additional basil and serve immediately.

It was soooo good :-)

Hey, thanks, I think that we will use that recipe for our next cooking group, it sounds really good. It is always good to cook new things, since I have been taking redusyn I have cooked so many different low fat things, and I am really surprised how good low calorie things are.
Cherry
You should really do this. It is very delicious. You said that you have started to cook healthier things too since you started to take redusyn. Where do you get the recipes from? From the internet or did you buy a good cokking book? Maybe you could also share some recipes with me!
MaggieMay
I get the recipes from internet, they have some really good ones, and they are so easy to cook, I just don't have much time to cook because of my different shifts, that is why I want this cooking group at work to happen. It is also alot of fun to cook with alot of people anyway. Maybe we could do a thread here with recipes.
Cherry
Yes I am also working in shifts and therefore I don't have that much time to cook either but I really enjoy cooking at the weekends (usually I don't have to work then). I also get most of the recipes from the internet. I have never thought that there are so many pages with light recipes (Well I never really cared about light recipes before having started with redusyn :-))
MaggieMay
I think cooking light stuff is more fun and it tastes better, don't you! There are so many easy recipes on the internet, and they are so yummy. I can only do this when i have off, but I make enough and freeze some, so that I can take my dinners to work. Even the people at work asked if I am taking a cooking class because everything looks so yummy.
Cherry
Yes I agree with you! Cooking is great and I would even describe it as one of my new hobbies (although I just have time to cook at the weekends). But unfortunately my husband still loves junk food which I avoid completely because of redusyn and therefore it is a little difficult to cook sometimes.
MaggieMay
I know it is hard to cook when your husband still eats everything, so far my family has been getting along fine with what I make, I have to work this weekend and so hubby has to do the cooking. I am going to leave him a recipe and see if he makes it, he usually cooks for us when I have to work on the weekends. Lets see what happens !

Did you try to check your hormons, your stress level or detox your body?
These is some times the ugly thruth about lossing weight, not always is the diet. You have to address all other factors. SUch as hormonal dysfunction, in womens is very commun. ANother one is stress when you are under stress your body cannot function the same, your stomach is unable to digest, you body decrease alot of cortisol, which cause inflamation, you heart function a little different, and much more. This can cause obesity and overweight .
Another factor that you should take at look ity is to detox your body. We live in a very toxic enviroment, our body is expose to 2800 chemicals every week, from lipstick, to shampoos, to cleaners in the house, to additives in food, to etc.... All of the chemicals are encapsulated by your body by fat and water and get store in your body.
Check all these other issues and maybe you will find the anwser that you are looking for.

I have lost the battle with my extra baggage. I have really tried everything, I don't really pig out, and sit in front of the tube all day eating chips. I am active but I just can't lose weight, or stick to a diet. I have heard of diet pills, pros and cons, I just can't make up my mind if they are really harmful. What should I do?????

Hello my friend in order to loss weight you have to check other factors number 1.- Hormones is another factor for which your weight can increase or don't loss it anymore. 2.- Stress level yes stress can cost you increase your weight. 3.-chemical toxicity alot of the chemicals in the food, water , air, etc can enter into your body. Even drugs that are been prescribed by a doctor can cost you obesity or gain weight. Another thing the diet alot of people they focus in diet coke, diet sugars, etc.. all this is not the answer.
for that you need to do liver cleanse.
4.- exercise it help you with your metabolism it improves great deal.
5.- drink alot's of water use your body weight divide in 2 and the drink that amount in oz of water.
I will said something is you run in ideas in how to loss weight please don't use drugs that will give you more problems in your future than anything. I tell you because I see alot of my patients that took prescribed medication to loss weight and the only thing that they got is heart problems, palpitations, irregular beats, irritabillity, unable to sleep, hyperactivity, etc. in one word I can describe them similar to a drugadict from the street. Same symptoms.
I hope that this can help you out and good look, but if you have any questions please feel free to visit me at www.naturalcures4u.net

I do take diet pills too, but only natural ones. I did try redusyn once and I really didnīt feel very well taking them. I was dizzy and couldnīt sleep at all. I hated that and donīt want to go through this again. never ever - only natural for me from then on. I can recommend levocaptine, it contains the most effective herbs and I really feel good with them - and I sleep like a baby. wink.gif
