ARE THERE ANY SAFE AND EFFECTIVE ANTIDEPRESSION MEDICATIONS FOR TEENAGERS?

My daughter (14 years old) takes Celexa (60 mg daily) and is under the careful watch of a well known psychiatrist as well as working with a psychologist. Although it took some time to get the dosage correct and there were some tense times in the beginning, she is now doing well 6 months down the road. I would NEVER ever allow a doctor to prescribe psychiatric medication for a teen without having a psychiatrist monitoring the situation regularly and also getting therapy for the teen as well.
